2022 - 2023 team Membership requirements
LA DIve CLub members will need to fulfill the following requirements prior to their first practice to be part of the program here at UCLA.....
1) USA Diving Registration: You must register with USA Diving to participate. You can do this at the USA DIVING WEBSITE. Scroll down to the Los Angeles Dive Club name and click that link. Your registration works through SportsEngine. This is a new system, and you may have some questions.
There is an annual fee, and runs January 1- December 31 of each calendar year. At a minimum, you will need the Athlete registration (about $40/yr), but if you plan to compete at Regionals, Zones, or Nationals, you will need to register as a Competition Athlete (about $200/yr). All athletes must have a current USA Diving Registration number, and be registered with LADC. If you are registered with another club team (and are joining us, please cc Tom on the email to USA Diving registration chair requesting this change). Active team members will appear in my Team Page Database. You will not be allowed to train until you have completed this requirement.
***For USA Diving we are considered Los Angeles Dive Club and are part of the Southern Pacific Diving Association***
2) Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Diving Registration: You must register with AAU to participate. This is an annual fee, and runs September 1 - August 31. All athletes should register as Youth Athlete extended coverage ($16). You can do this at http://www.diveaau.org/Membership/SignUp.aspx and go to the "Athlete Register Now" link on the front page. You will need to enter our AAU Club Code for the 2022-2023 year which is WYE36F.
***For AAU Registration we are considered Los Angeles Dive Club***
All athletes must have a current AAU Diving Registration number, and be registered with LADC. If you are registered with another club team. Active team members will appear in my Team Page Database. You will not be allowed to train until you have completed this requirement.

You will need to sign and upload this for submission in the next step.
4) Team Registration Form: This is a quick informational form that will allow us to keep all of your information in one place. Please make sure to complete the form prior to attending your first practice (specific information on this page is collected in this GoogleForm).

5) Parent and Diver Responsibilities Form: Parents, please read through the expectations we have established for you and read through those we have established for your athletes, with them. We are asking everyone to take their time in understanding the guidance we have laid down and expect each team member to follow. Please take some time to do this with your athletes. That page may be found here.
6) Team Membership Fee: The Annual Membership Fee is used to purchase new equipment (i.e. new diving boards, mats, belts, etc.) that we use throughout the year, facility upgrades (i.e. new cameras for the TIVO’s, dryland upgrades, etc.), and cover all travel and administrative costs to run our program during the year. This is a requirement for participation.
7) Session Coaching Fee: The Session Coaching fees (Lesson/JO Team) are due on the 5th day of each session. After the 5th day, payments are late, and there is a $50.00 late fee. If for any reason a diver needs to take a break or take a session off, we need advanced notice of at least two weeks. Once a diver starts a session, we do not offer refunds or Pro-rate the session for team members, as we have held that spot for you, and it cannot be filled.
